Is Cheap Furniture the Best Value?

Is Cheap Furniture the Best Value?

We all know that while looking for a product or service, we want to get various quotes. But why wouldn't I always go with the cheaper option?

Is cheap furniture the best value? You may be looking to provide temporary or part-time space, and in this unusual case, cheap furniture may be acceptable because you are not concerned with the short life span and lack of warranty.

But when you are looking for quality, long-lasting furniture, the cheaper option is not always the best option.

Warren Buffett once said, "Price is what you pay; value is what you get." As you review a proposal, we respectfully encourage you to consider this statement when making your purchasing decisions.

Some companies may try to ‘win the deal’ by offering ‘the lowest price’, and as a buyer, the temptation is to be influenced by this, especially when budgets are tight, or expenditures are being made with public money.

Life cycle, quality, safety, comfort, these are all potential benefits of a quality piece of furniture over a cheaper version, or any other item you would ever purchase. Just as you likely don't own the cheapest car available, you've weighed the value of each option and decided on the best VALUE for your money.

Quality furniture is built to last. Even better if it comes with a strong warranty. Cheap furniture typically has a short life cycle and needs to be replaced more often, while quality furniture will last, saving money over the years.  Paying extra now will save in the long run. If your budget is tight, spend your precious funds on the best you can afford - even if it means not buying the quantity of items required.  It is much better to put the money into something that will give you a longer ROI.

Here at Accent, we will admit we aren’t always the cheapest. Our commitment is to provide you with a fair price, exceptional customer service, open & honest communication, and we will never consider a project complete until you are 100% satisfied.
